Early unused Giant Monster Hand, for “The Yin Yang Master” movie, only on Netflix.
Early on I had design a silhouette in 3D of the creature and Director really liked were I was going with this idea & over all shape.
I had done this particular armored design for Director Weiran Li while in Beijing China In early 2018. This used to be the design we were developing for the giant monster Hand, but it took about 2 years of back and forth with Director to get to the final approved look. As you can see we did not ended up going with this armored look and we went with a more monster skin type look for the final product. But the over all shape was always the same since I designed it in 2017. Fun times, Director and I spend a lot of time together discussing different ideas and approaches for almost all aspects of the movie. It was great to finally work on a project and all my ideas mattered and were taken into consideration.
