Alien Horses "Star Trek Into Darkness"

I was hired by Nevile Page to work on the movie Star Trek Into Darkness in 2011. In the beginning of the movie, Kirk is running away from natives, until he runs into a creature and shoots it. That creature was supposed to be an alien horse, but since they cut the budget they scraped the idea and reused the ice creature from the first start trek movie, just with a different skin treatment. I was told that J.J. Abrams liked my design but non of them ended up in the final cut. To me this was a dream come true, I loved Star Trek since i was 12 years old and it was such an honor to take part on this project. Many thanks to Neville Page for the opportunity.
