"Anthony" Ant Man

had the honor of working on the movie Ant Man with the talented people at Method Studios Santa Monica 2014. This project was a lot of fun to work on, Method studios was tasked with creating the 3d assets of all the ants in the movie. I was hired to put together style guides and detail anatomically correct, Photobashed paintings of all the ants except the little Crazy Ant. I was told by my supervisor that "they have no idea what ants look like up close, or how to put them together, specially the bottom parts. Following previews designs done by the super talented Anthony Fransico I was able to make the final design approved by the director. The final wing design was done by my buddy Ming Pan, how joined the project later on as my art director, he also designed the Little Crazy Ant that was my favorite design in the end. Cheers!
